Intended use

The VideoJet 8008 network video server transmits video and control signals

over data networks (Ethernet LAN, Internet). The integrated hard disk allows the

VideoJet 8008 to be used as a DVR. It is designed for use in CCTV systems. By

incorporating external alarm sensors, various functions can be triggered

automatically. Other applications are not permitted.

EU Directives

The VideoJet 8008 network video server complies with the requirements of EU

Directives 89/336 (Electromagnetic Compatibility) and 73/23, amended by 93/68

(Low Voltage Directive).

Rating plate

For exact identification, the model name and serial number are inscribed on the

rating plate on the bottom of the housing. Please note this information if

necessary before installation so it will be available in case of questions or for

spare parts orders.
