1.5 An extended user can add users of custom authorization levels

In older DiBos versions the extended user could only add users of the authorization

level “Normal Users”. Now he can also add users of custom authorization levels.

There is one prerequisite: The custom authorization level may not have any

configuration permission enabled.

1.6 Further new software features

 Smooth digital zooming: Each Video image provides now 7 instead of 3 digital

zoom steps which results in a much better usability when zooming in. This is

consistent with the look and feel of the Bosch Video Management System.

 Digital zooming of PTZ cameras. It is now possible to digitally zoom images of

PTZ cameras with the mouse wheel. This way a user without permission to the

mechanical zoom of the camera can still digitally zoom the image. This is

consistent with the look and feel of the Bosch Video Management System.

 The user can configure up to 256 prepositions for each PTZ camera. To use a

high number only takes effect if the corresponding PTZ camera is supporting it.

 DiBos 8.7 can deactivate views above 4 or 9 video images. Due to performance

reasons the buttons to call up views with more images can be disabled so that

the operator cannot accidently select them.

 Fullscreen display can be blocked. There are touch screen installations where it

happened that the operator cannot exit the Fullscreen mode because there was

neither a regular PC keyboard nor a PC mouse connected to the receiver. As a

workaround the button to enter the Fullscreen mode can be disabled with DiBos

version 8.7.
