Guidance on installing the Bosch
32C condensing water heater
Siting the appliance
The Bosch 32C can be installed in both indoor and
outdoor applications, with the correct flue accessories.
Outdoor installations require a vent cap to be installed
with the appliances (see page 14), and indoor
installations require Bosch PP fluing (see page 14).
Avoid areas where corrosive or flammable gases may be
present.
Flue exhaust should be considered when siting the
appliance as clearance regulations for both indoor and
outdoor installations exist (refer AS/NZS 5601)..
Wall and ceiling clearances
Clearances for ensuring repair/inspection space
The minimum clearances (shown below) should be
followed to ensure that sufficient room is available for
servicing the appliance.
Air inlet
Internal installations of the Bosch 32C require adequate
ventilation as per AS/NZS5601. Ensure that the air inlet is
adequately sized and is in accordance with AS/NZS5601.
The air inlet needs to be open to the outside air from the
room or area in which the water heater is used.
