Guidance on installing the
Bosch 32 and 32Q water heaters
Choosing the location
The Bosch 32 and 32Q can be installed in both indoor and
outdoor applications, with the correct flue accessories.
Outdoor installations require vent caps to be installed
with the appliances (see page 28), and indoor installations
require Bosch stainless steel fluing (see page 28).
Avoid areas where corrosive or flammable gases may be
present.
Flue exhaust should be considered when siting the
appliance as clearance regulations for both indoor and
outdoor installations exist.
Wall and ceiling clearances
Air inlet
Internal installations of the Bosch 32 require adequate
ventilation as per AS/NZS5601.. Ensure that the air inlet is
adequately sized and is in accordance with AS/NZS5601.
The air inlet needs to be open to the outside air from the
room or area in which the water heater is used.
Clearances for ensuring repair/inspection space
The minimum clearances (shown below) should be
followed to ensure that sufficient room is available for
servicing the appliance.
