The DS900i-GSM is an advanced solution to secure
most alarm transmission installations with a dual-path
security communication system. It is also a wireless
SMS (Short Message Service) communicator with six
dedicated inputs and one remote output. The interface
constantly monitors the telephone line (PSTN) and in
the event of a failure or a line being cut, the
communications are automatically sent to the central
station over the wireless digital network GSM (Global
System for Mobile communications) in its native
format.
Functions
Universal Interface
Connects to most control/communicators and
receivers.
Supports Security formats
Alarm messages are delivered in their original format
(Pulse, DTMF, Contact ID, Vocal), requiring no changes
at the central station.
Supports Dual-path Communications
It is a direct six-input wireless communicator using
SMS message services for personal calls to mobile
phones and can be used as a stand-alone main phone
line for all voice calls when fixed PSTN lines are not
available.
PABX Compatible
The DS900i-GSM is designed to operate in connection
with a PABX telephone system. When so installed, the
incoming ISDN line is monitored, and the system can
be programmed to filter the PABX prefix and re-route
the call via GSM. A built-in ring generator allows
answering.
LCD Display
Visual two-character LCD display that indicates GSM
reception level, type of network connection, call
sequence, and system faults and operation
24-hour Supervision Outputs
Relay contact outputs activated for:
GSM Fault: From 10 sec. to 99 sec. delay,
PSTN Fault: From 5 sec. to 99 sec. delay,
Battery Fault: Under 11.5 Vcc,
GSM Test: Output from 0 to 99 hrs.
Local Alarm: If both networks are out
