C. Submit manufacturer’s descriptive literature and maintenance data for inclusion in
Operating and Maintenance Manual specified in Division 16 Section “Basic Electrical
Requirements.” Operation and maintenance data shall cover each component of
system, including all features. Provide spare parts data. Provide the name , address and
telephone number of service organizations that carry stock of repair parts for the
system to be furnished.
1.5 QUALITY ASSURANCE
A. Electrical Component Standard: Components and installation shall comply with NFPA
70 "National Electrical Code."
B. Manufacturerer: Company specializing in CCTV systems with minimum ten (10)
years documented experience.
C. Installer Qualifications: Engage an experienced Installer who is factory-authorized
service representative to perform Work of this Section with minimum of five (5) years
documented experience.
D. UL Listing and Labeling: Provide products and components specified in this Section
that are listed and labeled by UL.
E. Single-Source Responsibility: Obtain components from a single source who assumes
responsibility for compatibility for the system components furnished.
1.6 DELIVERY, STORAGE AND HANDLING
A. All system components shall be new and in manufacturer’s original packaging.
Components shall be stored in a secured location until components are ready for
installation. Contractor assumes all responsibility for all components that are damaged
or stolen prior to acceptance of system by owner.
B. All system components shall be stored per manufacturer’s requirements. Coordinate
storage location with owner.
1.7 GUARANTY
A. All work performed and all materials and equipment furnished under this contract
shall be free from defects and shall remain so for a period of at least one (1) year from
the date of acceptance. The full cost of maintenance, labor and materials required to
correct any defect during this one year period shall be included in the submittal bid.
