Appliance self-
test
Your appliance features an
automatic self-test program which
shows you sources of faults which
may be repaired by customer
service only.
Starting the appliance
self-test
Switch off the appliance and
wait 5 minutes.
Switch on the appliance again.
Simultaneously press the “+
and “ ” buttons for 5 seconds.
The self-test starts.
If “E..” is indicated on the display
panel, an error has occurred.
If a fault is indicated, inform
customer service.
Ending the appliance
self-test
Press the “+” and “ ” buttons
again for 5 seconds.

additional help can be found by

Interaction Center,

from anywhere in the U.S.A.

Write down the following information
about your refrigerator to better help
you obtain assistance or service if
you ever need it.
You will need to know your complete
model number (E) and serial
number (FD).
You can find this information on the
rating plate located on the inside wall
of the refrigerator compartment.
Fault Possible cause: Remedial action
Ice maker is not making
enough ice or the ice is
deformed.
Low water pressure. Connect appliance to stipulated water
pressure only (see section “Installation
/ Water connection”).
Condensation forms on the
discharge unit of the
dispenser.
The environment is to humide. Switch on the condensation heating.
To switch on the condensation
heating: press the switch to “1”.
To switch off the condensation
heating: press the switch to “0”.
