Oven cleaning made easy with EcoClean

The energy-saving cleaning aid. A special coating

of microfine ceramic spheres on the oven’s interior

walls breaks down spattering grease while you bake or roast –

and continues to do so for the entire service life of the appliance.

The back wall of Bosch ovens are coated with EcoClean as

standard. Of course, you can also buy EcoClean ovens with

side and top linings. Or, you can simply add the top and side

components as optional accessories. The perfect workmanship

of all the components makes retrofitting very easy.

High-tech for your kitchen

When grease spatters inside the oven, it lands on the porous

lining of ceramic spheres, where it is absorbed. The structure

of the grease deposits is broken up by an oxidative process.

This continues throughout the service life of your oven since

the microfine ceramic liners regenerate when heated.

It is possible that deposits do not completely disintegrate

during the roasting or baking process, therefore, the back,

top and side liners may require additional cleaning with

the support of the EcoClean cleaning program. This offers

3 different cleaning levels to choose from based on the

extent of the deposits.

Pyrolytic self-cleaning system

The ultimate in self-cleaning power and convenience.

During the pyrolytic cleaning process, the oven heats

up to approximately 480°C and the door is locked for safety

purposes. At this temperature, residues from roasting, grilling

and baking are reduced to a thin layer of ash that can simply

be wiped away with a damp cloth.

Bosch pyrolytic cleaning system offers 3 stages for your

convenience; the dirtier the oven the higher the cleaning

level should be.

For added convenience, Bosch pyrolytic ovens are supplied with

pyrolytic proof enamel accessories, such as the universal pan.

Simply remove all standard racking and shelving, insert the

supplied pyrolytic pan supports and insert your pyrolytic proof

enamel tray before starting the cleaning process. You can even

program the oven to run the pyrolytic cleaning function at a more

convenient time, such as overnight, so you can enjoy more time

cooking and less time cleaning!
