Fan settings Fan run-on Light
Intensive
setting
Grease lter saturation
display
The appliance is operated by gently the
tapping the sensor buttons.
NOTE: It is recommended to switch on the
blower when you start cooking and not to
switch it o again until several minutes after you
have nished cooking.
In this way the kitchen fumes are removed most
eectively.
Switching on the fan and selecting the
fan settings
Press the W button. The fan switches to
setting 2.
Press the appropriate button to select the
required fan settings.
Switching o the fan
Press the W button.
Intensive setting
The Intensive setting generates maximum
performance. It can be used if thick fumes or
strong odours occur temporarily.
Press the q button.
If the Intensive setting is not switched off
by hand, the fan automatically switches back
to setting 2 after 10 minutes.
Fan run-on
Press the p button.
The fan runs for 10 minutes at the selected
setting. Then the fan switches off
automatically.
Light
The light can be switched on and off
independently of the fan.
To adjust the luminosity, hold down the 0
button until the required luminosity is obtained.
Saturation displays
When the grease filters are saturated, a
signal sounds for 6 seconds after the fan is
switched off. The
J
display is lit.
The grease filters should be cleaned now.
To cancel the display, press the
J
button.
Switching the acoustic signal o and on
When a button is pressed, an
acknowledgement signal sounds.
To switch off the acoustic signal,
simultaneously press the 0 and
p buttons for
approx. 3 seconds. An acknowledgement signal
sounds.
To switch on the acoustic signal, repeat the
process.
Locking the buttons
To lock the buttons, simultaneously press 0
and
q for approx. 3 seconds.
The buttons are locked for approx. 30 seconds.
To release the buttons early, repeat the
process.
