17. Commissioning the appliance

To guarantee the accuracy of the following working steps

and thus the appearance of the overall kitchen front later on,

the appliance should now be operated.

 Open the appliance door.

 Press the POWER button.

Only for appliances with a water connection:

18. Attaching the individual appli-ance

to the side of the cavity

The drawers in the freezer compartment must be taken out

in order to attach the appliance.

 Using a screwdriver, turn catches on the telescopic rail

by 90°.

 To take out, lift the drawer slightly and take out.

 Screw the attachment plate lugs (C) to the adjacent

furniture/fixtures.

 Screw on the brackets (D) for holding the cover strip.

CAUTION

Check that the finger guard functions. In particular check

– that the finger guard is correctly attached to the

appliance and

– that the finger guard slides smoothly forwards and

backwards when the refrigerator compartment

doors open and close.

NOTE

In order to avoid the risk of damage caused by leaking

water from damage possibly caused to the water pipe

feeding the appliance, keep the shut-off valve closed.

NOTE

Before the door drawer can be taken out, the

upper drawer must be removed.
