Dispensing ice:

Disconnecting the

ice maker

NOTICE

Before switching off the ice maker,

it is most important that you

switch the water suppiy to the

appiiance off for a few hours.

if ice cubes are not to be dispensed

for ionger than N week (e.g. hoiiday),

temporariiy disconnect the ice cube

maker to prevent the ice cubes from

freezing together.

n Remove the ice cube container.

n Press the On/Off switch behind

the ice cube tray to “0” - ice

cube maker is switched off.

Empty and ciean ice cube

container. Re-attach the ice

cube container. Ensure that the

ice cube container engages with

the support.

Switching on the ice cube maker

again:

n Press the On/Off switch behind

the ice cube tray for 5 seconds

to “I” - ice cube maker

is switched on.

Do not take notices of the

iabeiiing under the On/Off

switch. This is for Customer

Service oniy.

Water filter

m CAUTION m

Do not use the appiiance in piaces

where the water quaiity is risky or

not sufficientiy known about

without suitabie disinfection,

before and after fiitering.

A fiiter cartridge for fiitering particies

can be obtained from customer

service.

The water fiiter shouid be repiaced

after six months at the iatest.

After 6 months you are prompted via

the [fiiter change] dispiay message

to change the fiiter cartridge.

Important information

concerning the water

filter

- After use, the water system is

subject to iow pressure.

Be carefui when removing the

fiiter!

- Rinse the water system through

if the appiiance has not been

used for a iong period, or if the

water tastes or smeiis

unpieasant. in addition to this,

draw water from the water

dispenser for severai minutes.

if the unpieasant taste or smeii

persists exchange the fiiter

cartridge.

Exchanging the filter

cartridge

After 6 months you are prompted via

the [fiiter change] dispiay message

to change the fiiter cartridge (see

chapter entitied Speciai functions).

Take out the filter cartridge as

follows:

n insert new fiiter cartridge.

n Draw a gaiion of water from the

water dispenser. Doing this

removes air from the water

system.

n Pour water out of the used fiiter

cartridge. The fiiter cartridge can

be disposed of in the househoid

rubbish.
