Using the telephone with partners

Information in the partner display

Flashes alternately with the partner display: The partner is being called.

Flashes alternately with the partner display: A partner is being called, for

whom a partner diversion has been set up.

flashes alternately with the partner display: Partner is being called simulta-

neously by two different callers.

The partner is making a call.

flashes alternately with the partner display: The partner is making a call

and is being called simultaneously.

" The partner has set up partner diversion.

A Partner diversion is set up to this partner.

A Partner display or partner beep is activated.

or These characters only appear during setup of the partner beep!

A Dial the A if you want the usual ringing tone,

A if you want the alerting tone.

Calling a partner

Press the key for the desired partner.

Lift the handset.

Answering a call to a partner

A partner telephone rings and the corresponding display flashes:

Press the partner key and wait until the call reaches you.

Lift the handset.

• It is possible that your telephone has been set up for Multiline instead of for

partner functions. If this is the case, then the partner functions are not available.
