Troubleshooting Guide - General
PROBLEM
Head assembly does not bevel to
desired position.
CAUSE
1. Bevel 33.9 ° stop engaged.
Blade hits table.
Angle of cut not accurate.
Cannot move miter adjustment.
Head assembly will not fully rise
or blade guard will not fully close.
Blade binds, jams, burns wood.
Rough cuts.
Tool vibrates or shakes.
Blade does not completely cut
workpiece.

freely when attempting a slide
cut.
Head assembly slides forward
and back when making a chop
cut.

setting limits movement.

Pull out 33.9 ° stop and rotate it
90°.
Change bevel detent override
setting.
