Using the scales
Depending on the model in question, the
appliance may be equipped with scales.
The following applications are possible:
Weighing the added ingredients
(either each ingredient individually or all
ingredients together).
Pre-setting a desired weight and
counting down until sufficient ingredients
have been added (with audible
information signals).
Important:
The appliance has 4 weight sensors
in the feet. The scales only supply
the correct results if all of the feet are
standing on a solid and level surface.
Do not put any cloths or other items
underneath.
Do not slide the appliance about on
the work surface as this may impair the
functioning of the scales. To move the
appliance, lift it.
After switching on or resetting the
scales, they are calibrated for a brief
moment (tare). During this process, do
not touch the appliance or place any
items on top of it (e.g. wooden spoon,
tea towel etc.).
Ensure that measuring jugs or
packaging are not lying on top of the
appliance (e.g. on the edge of the filling
shaft).
