Troubleshooting
In the following tables, you will find solutions for problems or faults which you can easily
rectify yourself. If a fault cannot be eliminated, please contact customer service.
Problem Possible cause Remedy
Nothing shown on
display. Illuminated
ring is off.
Appliance cannot be
switched on.
Appliance has no
power supply.
Check the power supply.
Plug the mains plug into the mains.
Appliance does not
start.
The illuminated ring
lights up.
A safety system was
activated.

Appliance switches off
during use.
Too much food has
been processed
either at the same
time or for too long a
period.
Turn the rotary switch to y. Disconnect
the mains plug.
Reduce the processing quantity.
Allow the appliance to cool down to room
temperature.
Swivel arm was
opened.
Turn the rotary switch to y.
Press the release button and push the
swivel arm down until it locks into place.
Bowl or bevel gear
(accessory) has
become loose.
Turn the rotary switch to y. Disconnect
the mains plug.
Tighten the bowl by turning until the stop.
Tighten the bevel gear and close the
locking lever completely.
The swivel arm cannot
be opened.
An accessory is fitted
to the red rear drive.
Remove accessory.
Press the release button and open
the swivel arm.

ERROR
MOTOR OVERLOAD
Too much food has
been processed
either at the same
time or for too long a
period.
Turn the rotary switch to y. Disconnect
the mains plug.
Reduce the processing quantity.
Allow the appliance to cool down to
room temperature.
The appliance or one
of the accessories is
blocked.
Turn the rotary switch to y. Disconnect
the mains plug.
Check appliance/accessories and rectify
the blockage.
Motor defective. If the message appears continuously, the
motor may be defective. Please contact the
customer service.
