Telephoning with convenience

Using the telephone book

Storing a call number in the telephone book as a DSS destination -

Call up the telephone book.

Press a digit key with letters or a programmed function key to enter the

first letter of the name, such as N.

Scroll to the desired menu item, e.g.

Nadine 069123456

Confirm your selection.

Scroll to the

Modify entry

menu item.

Confirm your selection.

Scroll to the ”Allocation” menu item.

Confirm your selection.

Scroll to the

DSS destinations

menu item.

Confirm your selection.

Press the desired key on the DSS module.

Scroll to the

Assign

menu item.

Confirm your selection.

Scroll to the

Store

menu item and confirm your selection.

• If you select ”DSS priority destinations” instead of ”DSS destinations” in the

”Allocation” menu item, your telephone will automatically activate the handsfree

mode when you press the Direct call key. This will be ignored if the called

subscriber deactivated the Second call. You can then still speak to them even if

it’s busy. Press the Direct call key once more. This is only possible if y ou have

the corresponding cut--in access permissions. When using the direct call

destinations the LED will show you if the subscriber is free (LED off) or busy

(LED on). You can find further information on the DSS module on Page 134.
