4.6 CONDENSATE CONNECTION
Never terminate or discharge into any open source,
including; sink, bath, shower, bidet, toilet etc.
• Ensure that the condensate drain is a 22mm diameter
plastic pipe. The pipe must fall at least 50mm per metre
towards the outlet.

1. Remove the sump blanking cap from the sump.
B Fill syphon with 200 to 250 millilitres of water.
2. To fit the syphon assembly:
B Remove orange seal retainer and discard.

B Push the syphon onto the sump assembly, until the
lug on the sump is fully engaged with the slot on the
back of the syphon assembly and the clip is engaged
in the top of the syphon.

3. Push the discharge hose, onto the condensate outlet
pipe.

There is no need to remove the Syphon Assembly for
cleaning.
To drain debris from the syphon, during the annual
service:
B Release the clips and remove the drainage cap from
the bottom of the syphon.
B Empty the debris and condensate from the syphon
into a suitable container.
B Re-fit the drainage cap to bottom of the syphon.
NOTICE: Any external condensate pipe
work must be protected with weather
resistant insulation to help prevent freezing.
Do not use lubricants or sealing compounds.
NOTICE: Pull the fan lead, DHW NTC sensor
lead and ignition cable out of the way when
fitting the syphon to ensure that they are not
trapped by the syphon assembly or
discharge hose.

NOTICE: Do not use solvents, adhesive or
lubricant when pushing the pipe onto the
rubber connector.
